The Open Door Policy

This political cartoon is about the Open Door Policy. I know because there is a pie with China written on it. The cartoonist is that other countries were ignoring China's religion and creating their own in China, and China was angry. I know because there is a Chinese guy who looks mad because foreigners are dividing China "pie" into pieces. At the time people thought of this as a positive thing because all countries acquire China's raw materials and there wouldn't be a war over it. One of the techniques the cartoonist uses is Labeling because there is a pie labeled China. Another technique used by the cartoonist is symbolism because the Chinese guy in the background is bigger than all the others. Yes this cartoon supports my position on Imperialism. There is a Chinese guy in the background who is mad and the others are just ignoring him.
